Creative competition for schoolchildren in Issyk-Kul region

PF"CAMP Alatoo" announces a competition among students of the school in Yntymak village of Tyup district, Issyk-Kul region. The event on the theme "Birds of my region" is intended for students from 6th to 10th grades. Participants can submit to the competition (1) their own works, such as essays and poems in Kyrgyz and Russian languages; (2) drawings.

Essays of at least 1 page of A4 format and poems of at least 16 lines are accepted for the competition. Drawings should be made with pencils, markers, or watercolors on A4 size paper.

The competition will take place from March 1, 2024, to April 1, 2024, aiming to draw attention of the younger generation to environmental conservation issues and to enhance the spiritual and ecological culture of schoolchildren.

Participants can submit their works via email to dina@camp.kg or through WhatsApp at +996 552 418 141, indicating the author's full name, school/class, place of residence, and contact information.

Following the competition, the jury, consisting of representatives PF"CAMP Alatoo", will determine the winners who will be awarded valuable prizes.

The results of the competition will be published on the website www.camp.kg and on social networks Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CampAlatoo/) and Instagram (@campalatoo).

The competition is held with the support of the project "Biodiversity Conservation in the Kyrgyz Republic through the Introduction of Effective and Comprehensive Rangeland Management Mechanisms," implemented by PF"CAMP Alatoo" with the support of the Sigrid Rausing Trust.
