The user-friendly and concise mobile menu has three sections - "Plant species", "Animal species" and "Useful information". The first two sections classify plants and animals into species, orders, families and describe their general characteristics. This information is accompanied by an image and additional information about the name in Latin, rarity status and inclusion in the "Red Book of Kyrgyzstan" or other international protection lists.

Users can supplement these sections with their own observations of the plant or animal by submitting them "for verification" to the moderators. Once confirmed, the data will be available to the rest of the app's audience. From the number of observations "approved" by the moderators, the user raises their rating, which will bring them certain bonuses. The "Useful information" section includes interesting articles, facts and reports about flora and fauna.
Scientists and conservationists using the Tabiyat Kenchi app will be able to monitor the status of rare animal and plant populations and update the database on the region's biodiversity.
The idea for the software came from specialists at CAMP Alatoo and the technical part was carried out by a Bishkek-based IT company.
The Tabiyat kenchi mobile application in Kyrgyz and Russian is available for download from the Google Marketplace and Appstore.
