International GREEN CA 2023 Conference: Ecology Experts from Central Asia to Gather in Almaty

The first international conference on enhancing the effectiveness of expert services in the field of ecology will take place on September 25-26, 2023, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event is organized by the regional environmental expert network of Central Asia (GREEN CA), jointly established by the Karaganda Regional Environmental Museum in Kazakhstan and the Association of Farmers "SAMR Alatoo" in Kyrgyzstan, with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The conference aims to strengthen cooperation among experts, scientists, government structures, international, and business organizations in addressing ecological and natural resource issues in Central Asia. The event will feature interactive plenary sessions, discussions, group sessions, and facilitate the exchange of experiences and discussions on collaboration prospects.

Approximately 100 experts from five countries in the region are expected to participate. The conference will serve as a platform for discussing the needs and challenges hindering effective cooperation within the expert community and its consumers (government bodies, donors, entrepreneurs, etc.) and developing mechanisms to overcome barriers and promote collaboration.
