Staff members of the Khan-Teniri State Nature Park and the Sarychat-Eеrtash State Nature Reserve have received a batch of machinery and field gear. The “CAMP Alatoo” PF provided this support to supplement the uniform outfits handed over earlier.
The list of delivered equipment includes a mobile site trailer on wheels, a solar inverter, a petrol generator, a compact weather station, first-aid kits, and informational materials for community outreach.
The new gear will significantly ease the work of specialists in high-altitude field conditions. It will enable rangers to patrol areas more effectively, monitor wildlife, track environmental changes, and carry out educational awareness activities with local residents.
According to “CAMP Alatoo” PF experts, regular monitoring helps identify environmental risks in a timely manner and prevents the spread of zoonotic diseases among wildlife. This is a crucial step in implementing the "One Health" concept, which views human, animal, and environmental well-being as an interconnected system.
This support to the protected areas was provided under the IKI–IUCN project "One Health”.
