Rangers in Issyk-Kul Region Receive Field Uniforms

«CAMP Alatoo» PF provided official uniforms and field gear to the staff of the «Khan-Teniri»  State Naturе Park, located in the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul region.

In early September, 25 all-season field equipment sets were distributed to management representatives, heads of four park sectors, and rangers. The staff regularly patrol the protected area, making functional, high-quality workwear a daily necessity.

The equipment kit was tailored to the needs of specialists who monitor the territory year-round, conduct multi-day field patrols, and perform physical labor in rugged conditions. The set includes a winter insulated jacket, windbreaker, vest, t-shirt, cap, tactical trousers, and combat boots. Made from durable materials, the uniform protects against harsh weather and provides effective camouflage in the field.

Additionally, the Khan-Teniri Protected Area staff received four first-aid kits. They contain essential supplies for handling emergencies before medical professionals arrive: dressings, a thermometer, syringes, pain medication, and insect repellent.

The equipment and first-aid kits were provided as part of the regional project "One Health in Nature Conservation in Central Asia" (1Health4Nature). The initiative aims to reduce the risks of the emergence and spread of zoonotic diseases (illnesses transmitted from animals to humans) by expanding and strengthening nature conservation measures. The project is implemented by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in cooperation with a consortium of national and international organizations across five Central Asian countries, with support from the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Government.
