Project Background
Conducting Training of Trainers (ToT) and preparing moderators for the effective dissemination of knowledge and skills on climate change adaptation.
Organizing and conducting "Learning for Sustainability" (L4S) seminars on the topic of "Climate Change Adaptation" in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to increase awareness and practical skills among the local population.
Project Objectives & Goals
Enhancing the capacity of the local population by increasing awareness, knowledge, and skills in climate change risk assessment and management in Central Asia.
Project Result
Moderator Training: Moderators have been trained and equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct trainings and seminars on climate change adaptation.
Seminar Implementation: Successfully organized and conducted L4S "Climate Change Adaptation" seminars in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, contributing to the increased awareness and skill enhancement of the local population.
Local Capacity Building: Significantly increased the capacity of the local population in terms of awareness, knowledge, and skills necessary for effective climate change adaptation.
Sustainable Community Formation: Established an interdisciplinary team of regional experts and moderators capable of continuing the dissemination of knowledge and skills in climate adaptation.
Knowledge and Skills Expansion: Improved understanding of existing and future climate change risks and their impacts through modern approaches and methodologies presented during seminars and training sessions.
