The project aimed to (1) raise awareness and inform rural communities; (2) conduct joint risk assessments with the local population; (3) strengthen the capacity of local government and public institutions; (4) implement mitigation and adaptation measures.
The goal of the project is to enhance the resilience of the local population to disaster risks.
An integrated local disaster risk management approach has been developed and tested. The capacity of the population has been increased, enabling people to manage disaster risks effectively.
