The project aims to enhance the awareness of Central Asian communities about climate change and adaptation to it using tools and approaches for natural resource management.
Project Background
Prior to the project, the following objectives were set:
- Increase the awareness of training participants about the challenges of climate change in the region, related issues, and required measures for adapting the management of local natural resources.
- Improve participants' knowledge of existing training modules in the country and other measures to enhance capacity, including best practices in sustainable land resource management.
- Develop participants' skills in identifying the needs of their organizations and required resources, initiatives, and training courses for implementing best practices.
Project Objectives & Goals
Enhancing capacity and awareness through the organization and conduct of educational events in the five Central Asian countries for a cross-sectoral and cross-level group of participants. The seminar theme is "Climate Change Adaptation through Natural Resource Management."
Project Result
Monitoring of the impact of knowledge acquired during the seminars has been conducted.
