Azamat's expertise covers the design and implementation of conservation projects using a variety of methods and tools for planning, biodiversity assessment and protected area management.
He started his work at the СAMР Alatoo PF in 2018 as a regional representative for the Naryn region, where he actively participated in climate change adaptation projects. His close interaction with rural communities, who face the daily impacts of climate change, allowed Azamat to develop a practical approach to solving local issues. This experience helped him hone effective communication and negotiation skills, accumulate solid experience in organizing training events, and deepen his understanding of local specifics.

As a specialist in the "Wildlife Conservation" program, he is skilled in using the "Open Standards for Biodiversity Conservation" for project planning and conceptual model creation. Azamat also utilizes the "Miradi" software for detailed planning and visualization of conservation projects, the "Climate Crowd" tools to study the impacts of climate change, and the "IBEX tool" to assess protected areas according to IUCN standards.
He has an extensive educational and professional background, holding a degree from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, a Master's degree in Agricultural Management from the Naryn State University named after S. Naamatov, and a certificate in Project Management from Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences.
