Sustainable Water Management Program Manager
Salamat has extensive experience coordinating and implementing projects in water and pasture resource management, climate change adaptation, and biodiversity conservation. Salamat holds a degree in Geography from the KNU named after J. Balasagyn and a PhD in Biological Sciences. To further enhance her qualifications, she completed the "Land Restoration Program" at the International Center for Capacity Development and Sustainable Use of Natural Resources at the Agricultural University of Iceland.
Salamat started working with the СAMР Alatoo PF in 2010 and has since gained vast knowledge and skills in sustainable natural resource management. As a program manager, she not only oversees projects, ensuring they align with the organization's goals, but also conducts scientific research, with results published in specialized journals.
Salamat regularly conducts training sessions for local communities and specialists to increase their awareness and competencies in rational natural resource use, climate adaptation, and biodiversity conservation. Her professional qualities include strategic thinking and high organizational skills. Her approach is pragmatic, with a strong ability to establish connections with various stakeholders, including local authorities, the scientific community, and international partners.
