The Governance Board of the Foundation is comprised of a Supervisory Board and a Director. The Foundation was established by a decision of the General Assembly of founders.
The Supervisory Board is a supreme governing body that supervises the Foundation’s activities. It is a collegial body composed of five members. The Board consists of representatives from international organisations that are interested in the work of the Foundation and various local NGOs. The Supervisory Board is headed by a Chairman, who makes decisions regarding organizational issues.
The Board addresses the following issues:
- Determining the Foundation’s main activities, policies and strategies;
- Approving the Foundation’s long-term development plans;
- Incorporating changes and additions to the current Charter.
A director of the Foundation manages current activities of the Foundation in the period between meetings of the Supervisory Board.
