CAMP Tabiat Public Foundation is an affiliate branch of CAMP Alatoo Public Foundation located in the town of Khorog, Tajikistan.
The goal of CAMP Tabiat is to promote sustainable development in rural mountain areas of Tajikistan. To achieve this goal, CAMP Tabiat commits to the following values:
- Support of rural mountain communities in the area of sustainable use of forests and integrated management of natural resources by raising awareness and capacity of the population and stakeholders;
- Elaboration and adaptation of tools on sustainable use of natural resources, reforestation, and adaptation to climate change through ecosystem-based adaptation solutions;
- Elaboration, evaluation, and dissemination of approaches and technologies on sustainable use of forests and integrated management of land resources;
- Promotion of cooperation between the state structures and users of natural resources, as well as support of a political dialogue between the concerned parties.
